Why "Europa"?

Our name is inspired by Jupiter’s moon, Europa, long considered one of the most promising places in our solar system to discover signs of life. Just as scientists look to Europa for hidden oceans and new possibilities, we look to complex biological data for patterns and insights waiting to be uncovered.

At EuropaDX, exploration is at the heart of what we do. We believe the search for meaning — whether in distant worlds or in multiomic data — requires curiosity, rigor, and the right tools. Our platform empowers researchers to dive deeper, reveal hidden connections, and accelerate discoveries that bring us closer to understanding life itself.

Our Story

The Challenge

As practicing scientists, our founders experienced firsthand the frustrations of working with complex, multi-dimensional biological data. Existing tools were either too simple for serious research or too complex for practical daily use.

We realized that the future of life sciences research required a new approach — one that puts powerful analytical capabilities directly in the hands of scientists, without requiring extensive technical expertise.

Leadership Team

Peter brings a unique background as a PhD scientist, software architect, and previous company founder. He has a strong background in medicine, biomedical research, data analysis, and software development with experience at NIH, Merck, Myriad Proteomics, and Seattle BioSoftware.
